A busy but rewarding week at the Boutique

The second-last week of our October sales month has been buzzing with activity and smiles here at Spirit of Life Boutique! We’ve loved seeing so many happy customers come through our doors to take advantage of our “Buy 2 Amoena bras and get 20% off” offer. It’s been a real highlight to help so many women find their perfect fit — and share in a few laughs and stories along the way.

This week was also special because we welcomed the new rural breast care nurses who visit us each year as part of their Brisbane training. Their stop at Spirit of Life gives them the chance to see firsthand the latest in post-surgical compression garments, breast prostheses, and the beautiful range of fashion mastectomy wear that Debra carefully curates for her customers. (You’ll spot a few photos of Debra with the nurses below!)

To top off a busy week, Debra also caught up with Queensland’s Health Minister, Tim Nicholls MP — and even the Premier, David Crisafulli — at a local function on Saturday. In a friendly but heartfelt chat, she spoke about the need for more breast screening programs and additional training for breast care nurses across Queensland. Both leaders already knew about Spirit of Life Boutique and congratulated Debra and the team for the wonderful work they do supporting women on their breast cancer journey. Debra said it was an encouraging conversation — and she’s hopeful that it will help spark more action in this important area of women’s health.
